The Scottish Rite is an appendant body of Freemasonry which offers a Master Mason who has completed the first three degrees in Blue Lodge Masonry the opportunity to advance to the 32nd degree. Any Master Mason holding membership in good standing in a recognized Blue Lodge may petition for the degrees and membership in the Scottish Rite Valley of Washington, DC which confers the degrees twice annually at a Spring and a Fall “Reunion”. Please submit a petition now to be considered as a candidate for the next class.

The Valley of Washington’s two-day Fall Reunion and conferral of the Scottish Rite Degrees on November 1st and 2nd, 2024 has reached max capacity. Scottish Rite Masons holding membership in good standing in a recognized Valley may petition to transfer their membership from their mother Valley to the Valley of Washington, Orient of the District of Columbia.
Scottish Rite Masons whose membership has lapsed may petition to have their membership reinstated in the Valley of Washington, Orient of the District of Columbia.
