Community Service Award

The Knights of St. Andrew (KSA) sponsors a Scottish Rite Community Service Award which recognizes individuals, faculty, staff, students and community partners in the District of Columbia who provide outstanding service in their a communities in the areas of education, health, economic development, social services, the arts, or culture.

To be eligible nominations may be submitted by any individual or institution that has an interest in recognizing those individuals who have influenced others through their positive work to support the community. All submitted nominations will be reviewed by the KSA Committee and recipients will be selected based upon their work to improve the community in our Nation’s Capital. A monetary award goes to each of up to five recipients selected from the nominations submitted. Those selected to receive the Scottish Rite Outstanding Community Service Award will be invited to attend the Washington, DC Scottish Rite Annual Awards Program in November  to receive their monetary award and a special certificate attesting to their outstanding service.

Nominations will be accepted on or before October 1.

Complete and submit the Community Service Award Program application to nominate an individual for the DC Scottish Rite Annual Community Service Award.
